Welcome to Broadstep-Academy!
Broadstep Academy is a State Approved Private School for Students with Disabilities located in
Sparta, New Jersey. We provide individualized, therapeutic educational programs designed to
assist
our student population to become as independent and successful in society as possible. Our
programs
are geared for students with multiple disabilities, autism, and emotional/behavioral
disabilities.

our
students can thrive both educationally and emotionally.

We truly consider our students and their parents/guardians and associated district personnel to
be
part of our extended school family. We understand that life with our student population goes far
beyond the school day and it is crucial that we provide support both at school and the home. We
have
a full range of highly experienced professional staff including our teachers, social workers,
occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech and language therapists, etc. that are
dedicated to the success of our students. We are also experienced in assisting parents with
preparing their child for programs after age 21.
